My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve
been using WordPress on several websites for about a year and am anxious
about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!

Nowadays most of the developments and new platforms are developed in PHP, so I would recommend start working with it ’cause will allows you a better integration with external (and also internal) systems. On the other hand, if you want to export your wordpress blog, just need to go to Tools (Herramienta in Spanish), then to “Export” (Exportar) and there you will find two options: one will generate a XML file which your will need to upload in you new blog and the other is a service offered by WordPress (throw one of their suppliers) that do it for you, of course is a paid service.
